THE ARTIST

My name is Elisa, and I am a studio artist out of Central Texas. Creating art has been a passion of mine for the last 20 years. Most of my subjects involve nature, animals, people, and textures. It started out being something that occupied my hands, filling my time with capturing images to paper with obsessed realism.

I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's in Communication Design. It wasn't until I went through the rigidity of the program that I found peace in the oil and watercolor studios.

This is where I discovered the “imperfections” of life and how beautiful those moments could be. How “painterly expressions” broke the need for constant perfection every time I put paint to wood or canvas. Now I create things embracing mistakes, looking forward to what opportunities might present themselves while also keeping true to my original love of realistic renderings.
